Seek the Highest Quality Outpatient Care in Thousand Oaks
Lotus Recovery offers a full continuum of care for mental health and substance use disorders. Our goal is to heal the damage that has been caused by the alcohol or drug use while also addressing underlying mental disorders that may be driving the need to self-medicate. Many people who misuse drugs and alcohol are trying to mask some type of pain, though they may no longer be in touch with what it is. Once we begin treatment for the substance use disorder, we can uncover what is at the root of your troubles, such as trauma, social anxiety, low self-esteem or depression.
Our licensed professionals give clients the compassionate care they deserve while implementing evidence-based treatments and alternative therapies. Addiction affects all aspects of a person’s life, which is why treatment must address them as well. No matter which program you participate in, you can expect an individualized treatment plan that sets you on the path to recovery. Your treatment plan will not be set in stone. It can be modified based on your progress and your needs.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
PHP is the highest level of care offered at Lotus Recovery. It’s a highly structured program that offers a similar level of care as a residential or inpatient program but without the commitment of living onsite. Instead, individuals can return home or to sober housing outside of treatment hours. This is a great option for those who are stepping down from an inpatient program or need more support and structure than what an outpatient program can provide. Most importantly, they get to live at home and sleep in their own bed at night.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
An IOP is a step down from PHP, with the main difference being that fewer hours of treatment are required. With more time outside of treatment, many individuals begin taking on more responsibility in the real world, such as by attending work part-time, returning to school and attending family activities. At the same time, they have regular access to treatment services, such as individual and group therapy, as well as holistic therapies like yoga, meditation and art therapy.
Outpatient Program (OP)
A standard OP is the lowest level of care, with the purpose of helping individuals transition back home and to their everyday lives. Most people spend over an hour in treatment several days a week, sharing their experiences with their therapists and peers. Some people participate in outpatient care for an extended period of time, as it holds them accountable as they practice the techniques they’ve learned in treatment in the real world.
Together, In Every Transition.
Lotus Recovery is committed to helping clients on their path to recovery. We know that each individual is unique, which is why each journey is too. Even though your path to recovery may look different from someone else’s doesn’t mean it’s any more or less. We give our clients the tools and resources needed to succeed in the world, and they can find the ideal balance for themselves.
Some people see the best outcomes in group therapy, while others prefer to spend time reflecting on their life through journaling or meditation. There is no right or wrong way to recover from substance use or mental illness. It’s all about uncovering the root causes of your pain, working through them and healing on a mental, physical and spiritual level. When this healing occurs, you won’t need drugs or alcohol in your life. You will be whole, and what you need will come from within.
When you walk through the doors of Lotus Recovery, you will have access to everything you need to make a full recovery. We will provide you with continued resources, a dedicated team of professionals and a full lineup of treatment services that include holistic therapies and evidence-based modalities. Abstinence is important, but we want more than that for you. We want you to embrace recovery and lead your best life.
